I am a post-doc researcher exploring the impact of ambient AI scribes on primary care. I have a PhD in Health Data in Practice, funded by the Wellcome Trust, in Prof Mike Barnes’s group at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). I hold an MRes in Health Data in Practice from QMUL, a MSc in Global Health from the University of Copenhagen, and a BSc in Psychology from University of Exeter.

My research interests are on AI enabled medical devices, clinical language models, big electronic health care records and participatory research - so how we can built better AI in collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.

I also work as a researcher for We and AI looking at the societal impact of AI, particularly generative AI, on public good, education, healthcare and other areas.

I run the monthly webinar series for Data Science for Health Equity Statistical Methods theme hosting international speakers in deep learning, machine learning and statistical methods in healthcare. Fancy giving us a talk?
